Hansel and Gretel....When I was a kid, this used to be my favourite story. I used to have one f those circular slides that tell you the story in 3-D through a viewer . My nightmare then, was always the old witch that lived in the house in the woods and the agony of watching Hansel being turned into a big mass of candy used to scare the wits out of me and the relief of watching Gretel saving him when she pushed the witch into the cauldron was my happy ending.
A house made of candies, an old witch, a reedy boy and a heroine.....such a simple story ... Wonder what it would be like if they 'animed' it with super villain and what-nots !
